16 athletes have signed up to attempt the world record entitled “1 million metres of difference in altitude in 24 hours”. Another world record experiment is that of 4 athletes in 24 hours, and the third attempt is to break the single-athlete record which Franz Venier set in 2009 with 92.160 metres in 24 hours.

21 sports enthusiasts, among which 20 men and one woman, are currently training and preparing for the event. Shortly before the big day, the team management will announce the names of the athletes with the best health results.

The contestants are being looked after by a team of around 50 experts who constantly monitor and improve their physical and psychological well-being as well as the material to be used. Another 70 people are in charge of the organisation and logistics of this extraordinary world record attempt.
